Quality .NET Volunteers Needed
Adoption Fees (coming soon!)
We are excited to announce that we are on schedule for a February 2010 opening!!

Bob’s House for Dogs is strictly fostering for area shelters and does not accept personal surrenders. Due to financial considerations we cannot be responsible for the medical needs of all the dogs in our care, but we can provide love, shelter, food, and necessary training. For this reason, all adoption fees will be going to the shelter for which we are fostering. Therefore our only incoming money is from fundraisers and donations. All positions such as grooming, training, dog care and outreach programs will be volunteer positions only. As a result we do not know the extent of our publicly open hours initially, but meetings by appointment will always be a flexible option.

Now that the building itself is ready, Bob's House is focusing on two main things:

  • First, the recruiting and coordinating of volunteers. Bob's House has already had an out pouring of interest from dog lovers. They are still actively trying to find people of all ages who are willing to donate whatever time they are able.
  • Secondly, the launching of a raffle. Bob's House needs to fund our facility in large part with a yearly cash, calendar style raffle. The calendars themselves should be ready for sale this spring. There will be a name drawn everyday with a check being mailed directly to the winner. The calendars will cost $10 with all proceeds going to Bob's House.
If anyone is willing to sell a few calendars (maybe 5-10) that would be the best help imaginable. Please Click Here and join the wonderful people who have already committed to do this!
